I made a spontaneous journey to Singapore with no planned itinerary ahead. Luckily, I met a fellow C.ser – Tiara from Hong Kong. Like me, she also doesn’t have a plan as well. Since we’re both into history, we decided to go to the Museum. There are a lot of interesting museums around Singapore. At first, we want to visit the National Museum but the entrance fee is quite off our budget. So we did search for other museums. We came across Peranakan Museum and the entrance fee is relatively cheap and we want to find out what Peranakan means. So we head straight to the museum.
What is Peranakan?
Southeast Asia has been a portal of trading since the ancient times. It lures traders and travelers to the region to have opportunities for wealth. Many have stayed and settled down with local women.
What to do at the Museum:
- Fill in all the stamps around the museum
